I take pride in offering consumer both of the best quality and nickel free jewelry, made for long lasting. Our jewellery pieces have been lovingly crafted and many of the components are put together by hand. As a result, there can sometimes be slight differences in the color, size and pattern of the materials or embellishments – all part of the charm of heart-made products!
Store your jewellery in a separate compartment or pouch inside a jewellery box to prevent items rubbing together. Take care not to drop or scratch your pieces.
Keep your jewellery away from perfumes, hairspray and lotions. Chemicals in these can affect the beauty and shine of your jewellery.
Never wear your jewellery in the shower, or when swimming. Chlorine particularly can discolour and damage your jewellery.
If you do need to clean your silver jewellery, try cleaning it with warm soapy water & a soft toothbrush. If the item is heavily tarnished we recommend using a silver polishing foam or dip to restore it to it’s natural bright finish, making sure you clean the item in warm soapy water before & after. Alternatively, please get in touch about getting your jewellery professionally cleaned & refurbished in the workshop & we’ll be happy to help
Cleaning Rhodium, Gold and silver plated jewellery
Most of our plated jewellery is made with 18K gold or rose gold plated on top of the silver. Due to the purity of the metal, it is quite soft, and therefore needs to be treated with care. As such should be cleaned carefully with a soft cloth or warm soapy water using a mild liquid soap that is non-oily & does not contain oxides or anti-bacterial agents. Rhodium, Gold and silver plated jewellery will also eventually tarnish or discolour if left out in the open air. To prevent this from happening, store your pieces in a cool, dry place, such as a jewellery box or case with the lid closed.
There is no need to clean pearls – the natural oils on your skin will help maintain their lustre.
